If you want to avoid catching any air-born nastiness on your next long-haul flight and also want to avoid pointless chit-chat with the nosey person next to you then you need to check out Sruli Rect’s mask designs.

Masked in Flight is a collection of updated surgical masks constructed from laser-cut parchment.

These futuristic bug-stoppers feature replaceable N95 particle filters for safe breathing and light shields for when you want to catch some Zzzz’s.

I’m not entirely sure if you’d actually be allowed to board the aircraft if you decided to wear Recht’s filtering facewear in the airport – personally I want one to wear on my London commute ;)

Take your pick from the full range here :)

Photographers spend a lot of time outdoors capturing nature, human interaction with its environment and such like. It’s a thirsty and sometimes very cold job and/or hobby and Cannon knows this.

This is why Canon handed out a thermal travel mug shaped like a lens to the press at the Vancouver Olympics.

Many of you keen snappers must’ve lusted after such a cool limited edition novelty – Well, now you can pre-order one for yourself for a mere $30 CAD.

Mmmmmmmmm………… caffeine from a thermal lens cup…………..

Go here and get your freezing fingers wrapped one :)

This is great!
I see the point of having a mobile signal on the tube, on planes and trains but there’s so many people that’s going to abuse this.
A commuter rail company here in the UK (C2C) will install cellphone signal-blocking film on train windows in order to keep the peace.
The film, which was developed in [...]
