e-Wolf e2 – The Electric Lambo

by Jay Garrett on October 2, 2009

w-Wolfe-Wolf have dipped their toes into Italian supercar design with their latest plug ‘n’ play sports car.

The e2 seems to borrow heavily from the likes of the Lamborghini Reventón and Ferrari Enzo – which can never be a bad thing can it?

536 eco-friendly horses hit the road via one 134-horsepower electric motor at each corner which manages to dish out 738 lb-ft of torque (1,000 Nm).

All that adds to a 0-60 dash in well under four seconds right up to a capped (possibly) top speed of 155 mph.

The juice is stored in a lithium ion battery pack composed of 84 flat cells from CERIO.

e-Wolf reckons that the speedy green machine could sprint along for around 187 miles before needing recharge of just 30 minutes.

Now, I’m thinking that a ’super charger’ is going to be needed for that swift a charge.

Production of this angular beauty is pencilled in for 2011

gtbycitroenMost of us know that the French have style.

Even the singer in my band, Subset, has a certain je ne sais quoi.

But this concept car created by Citroën for the famous driving sim, Gran Turismo 5, has made that leap from fantasy to reality and was cruising the London streets just like the GT5 version does.

The working prototype of Citroën’s ‘oh my God how cool is that?!!?’ concept supercar, the GTbyCITROËN, hit the roads ahead of its first UK show appearance between 3rd and 5th July at the Goodwood Festival.

It will definitely be a sight to watch as it climbs the famous 1.16 mile Goodwood Hill as part of the Sunday Times Supercar Run.

Citroën is keeping quiet on the actual performance stats for the car – but who cares? Just look at it!

Pagani, better known for their Zonda supercar has gone into the luxury audio market and produced a carbon fiber-and-brushed aluminum stereo system.
There is a nod to their rather nippy car in the 350 watt speakers – slightly reminiscent of the quad exhaust dontcha think?
Known for taking a different approach they’ve loaded this system with two turntables [...]
