Looking for a tablet but need more screen real estate?

You’re in luck if you live in the states as Toshiba’s lovely Libretto W100 is now on sale stateside.

The twin-screened slate is supposed to be a limited run kinda deal.

The W105-L251 is ready to ship for $1,099.99.

That gets you a Pentium U5400 processor, Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit), integrated Intel HD graphics, a memory card reader, 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 62GB solid state drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an inbuilt webcam and a pair of 7-inch WSVGA LCD panels.

Buy direct from Tosh and they promise that you’ll have one in your sweaty palms in “2 to 3 weeks”

It seems that Amazon.com has them on pre-sale for the same price.

InnoDisk NanoSSD Crams 128GB into a Matchbox

by Jay Garrett on June 10, 2009

nano-ssd-128gbThe InnoDisk NanoSSD is roughly the size of a matchbox but incredibly shoves 128 gigabytes of storage into that tiny space.

At the risk of sounding too smug they also claim the drive still reads and writes at around 150 MB/s.  Show offs!

InnoDisk says they tested the NanoSSD by hitting it with 20 Gs of of “accelerative force” while plugged into a motherboard, and TweakTown says it’s designed to survive this.

There’s been no mention of when this will be available and I’m guessing when it does hit the shelves it’ll cost the same as a small house.

Asus have unleashed the Lamborghini VX5 laptop at CeBit. Yes, it looks rather swish with that soft leather, chrome and the raging bull badge. What has actually stopped me in my tracks isn’t the Core 2 Quad CPU, 4GB of RAM or the 16-inch “Full HD” display. It’s the fact that it houses a 1TB SSD!  Yup, a [...]

In true ‘mines bigger than yours’ form Micron claims that its 256GB SSD can read data at 250MBps compared to Samsung’s 220 Mbps.  They obviously ignored the fact that Samsung’s can write faster, 200MBps [...]
