Cute Google Android Robot Collectables Refuse to Crash

by Jay Garrett on February 3, 2010

Remember Twitterific’s Ollie has been brought to ‘life’?

Well, now you will soon be able to hug your own Google Android figure!

Andrew Bell has teamed up with Google so that you don’t have to resort to just stroking your Nexus.

Mr Bell has worked on a series of authorised Android robot figurines, starting with an initial run of 12 designs.

The cute 3 inch tall figures feature articulating heads and arms, and will be available starting the 10th of this month.

Have a look-see here :)

It looks as though Asus has decided to join in the floor-cleaning robot wars.

The new ECleaner vac has been just released in China and Taiwan.

Instead of going for the oddness of the Panasonic Fukitorimushi Worm Asus have followed the way of the iRoomba but pricing it at the equivalent of £95 you could well make a saving.

It comes with a self-charging home base and is armed with a spinning side brush, front bumper, a 6000 hour UV light for disinfecting the floor, an air freshener slot as well as a remote control.

You get a choice of two sporty colours (red and yellow) so if you fancy drag-racing these bad-boys you can ;)
