Microsoft Kinect for Xbox Gets UK Price

by Jay Garrett on July 20, 2010

Microsoft has now gone official with the UK price of their body-sensing motion-controlled gaming doopher.

The Xbox add-on that the big M is hoping will kick the Wii and Move into the curb will cost the people of Blighty £130 for a Kinect Sensor to plug into your current Xbox 360, and one game – Kinect Adventures.

The bundle of Kinect, game and a shiny new Xbox 360 Slim will hit you up for £250.

Games look to cost around the £40 mark.

What do you think to those prices? Well, bear in mind that the UK are suffering again with Brit tax – Buy the Kinect sensor in the states you pay $150 which is closer to £100.

Why do we have to pay an extra £30?

Lenovo Q150 Nettop – Check out That Controller!

by Jay Garrett on May 11, 2010

Lenovo has dropped their new nettop – the Q150.

I’ll get to the specs soon but the thing that grabbed my peepers is that wireless keyboard/mouse. Surely worth buying teh Q150 just for that!

For those that need a little more convincing. The Q150 is running an Intel Atom D510 that teams up with an Intel ION 512MB GPU which will chuck out HD videos all day long.

It also sports 2GB of RAM and a 250GB 5400 RPM drive should help with your viewing of Hulu, Netflix, and the rest.

The Q150 should be around in a few weeks with prices starting at $249.
