roseiphoneKevin Rose, yeah the Digg fella,  is well known for breaking Apple rumors.

He continues the trend with his words at SXSWi.

He stated that the iPhone 3.0 update will indeed have copy and paste.

Mr Rose says that you use two fingers to select the text you want, and then you can cut or copy.

That’s all very cool but apparently Kev says that 3.0 won’t have support for background apps – this kinda poo-poo’s his claim that that 3.0 will bring the iPhone

“up to speed with the Palm Pre”.

Guess we’ll find out what’s on March 17th.

Check out the vid below of the wise Mr Rose :)

VCR Barebones Media PC Case – Retro Coolness!

by Jay Garrett on March 3, 2009

vcr-puterNow this is very cool!

Not only  as you could be rocking some retro funkiness but could also confuse would-be robbers as they sneer at your old tech.

What am I typing about?

It’s this barebones media PC that you can buy from those good chaps over at Maplin.

Just add your own RAM, hard drive, keyboard, mouse, and monitor to the preinstalled Intel motherboard and CPU and you’re good to go!

There’s a built-in Intel GMA 900 graphics chip with an included HDMI output and a DVB-T tuner so you can get your DVR functions all up and running.

The Barebone Media Entertainment PC is on sale for £149.99 which has dropped down from £249.99 and that price is good til the 17th of this month :)
