Could it be that even the most ardent of Blackberry owners are preparing to turn their backs on their QWERTY machines once the iPhone 4G or iPhone HD is released?
This seems to be the case according to a survey conducted by Crowd Science. It revealed that a staggering 2 out of 5 Blackberry users said that they would to move over to the Appley handset once their contract comes up for renewal.
It appears that the major hang-up that the RIM phone lovers have is the lack of security features on the iPhone – you know, the backdoors that allow people to jailbreak the iPhone OS.
Are you a Blackberry user? Are you tempted to defect over and join us on the Apple side of the street?
Ok, so I had dubious pics before and now here’s an equally dubious vid that points to the iPhone 4G following the Zune naming method and appearing as the iPhone HD.
According to this ‘leaked commercial’ the next gen iPhone sports a radically new chassis in which to house the higher powered camera and the front facing camera.
Word on the street is that the 4G data chips might not be ready for a Summer release of the iPhone 4G which could cause a delay or perhaps a renaming – iPhone HD?
I think I could get used to the design in the vid but how genuine is it? Is this just the musing of another talented and bored fanboy/girl or could this be a glimpse into what to expect?
Now leaks are one thing and, being the untrusting fellow that I am, even though I want these shots of the iPhone 4G to be real I can’t help but shout ‘render!’.
True; plenty of work has gone into this and the exposed brickwork setting is very tasteful but something isn’t sitting right.
I like the idea [...]
Now, I’ve already met SE’s new range of phones but I was looking forward to perhaps getting the pleasure of actually unboxing one or more for myself.
But, oh no! Sony Ericsson goes and does it themselves!
Yup. The sparkly new X10 handset gets its first video unboxing by the hands that made it.
This is just wrong!
If [...]
Yup – I’m downloading as I type.
Ubisoft has released the multiplayer edition of Assassin’s Creed II for iPhone, and it’s completely free to download for the first two days! Beautiful!
Don’t be expecting a friend frenzy version of the original Assassin’s Creed II iPhone game though.
This is a birds-eye view sneak fest and not the [...]
Remember the MiLi projector? The pico that’s been specially designed to chuck images from your iPhone or iPod onto a nearby wall?
Well, IWOOT now has them in stock which means if you want to throw a 70 inch image on to a clear, flat vertical surface you’re in luck.
To see your stored pics or videos [...]
This is what I’ve been expecting/hoping but now ‘industry experts’ are saying that the Apple iPhone 4G will look quite different from the iPhone 3GS.
Alriiiiiiiiiiiiiight!
Barclays analyst Ben Reitzes reckons that Apple “will try to change the game on everybody – it bothers them that everyone stole their form factor.”
I can totally see where he’s [...]
Near Field Communication seems to be on the cards for Apple’s next gen iPhone looking at the new Apple patents.
Imagine being able to use your iPhone to open doors, as a travel card or to unlock your Macbook.
Late last year there was hinatge in another Apple patent that RFID and their Grab and Go app [...]
Fashion phones don’t usually get my juices going.
They are what they are – a fashion statement first and a gadget second…. or even third.
So, when I heard that the result of a Puma and Sagem love-in was set to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress next week a whole lot of ‘meh’ hit me.
Since visiting [...]
Now, you may have figured out that I like a decent rumour served with a hefty slice of gossip.
According to iPhone repair site, iResQ, the next generation of iPhone is going to be super-sized and not Nanoed.
iResQ has posted photos of what it says is the case for the iPhone 4G and, as you can [...]
Once you’ve got your hands on your shiny iPad you’ll need somewhere to put it when it’s not in use.
Former corporate lawyer Scott Jordan owns clothing company SeV, and his Web site features the answer to a question you probably never would ask,

It’s not even a week ago since the iPad was officially announced and already little iAdd-ons are appearing.
Michael Greenberg’s iDrift is a simple steering wheel that encases the new Apple tablet
This is a great idea for driving games I guess and a lot more straight-forward to produce when compared to the Wii’s wheel.
What do you [...]
This might be lost on those not around in the early 80’s but this gives me thrills aplenty!
Bigtrak was a marvel – It was a six-wheeled vehicle with a front-mounted blue photon beam headlamp, and a keypad on top.
Yup – this excitement is partly due to the fact that me and my bro never had [...]
This going to be a regular feature on the run-up to the 27th and, hopefully, some big Appley announcements.
Latest from the rumour-mill is that the next gen iPhone will be sporting an OLED screen and a have removable battery just like the new gPhone, Nexus One.
There’s rumblings that iPhone 4G could have a front-facing camera [...]
Chatting to some of my buddies last week we discussed the importance of the next iPhone having a better camera and thought that the rumoured 5MP replacement was a good idea.
The point I made was that I could live with the 3MP version in exchange for a decent flash.
Hello – what is this? It [...]
If your head is spinning with details and specs of the four phones above then thank Billshrink for the complete comparison break-down.
Billshrink has compared the main specifications and the cost of ownership of the Google, Apple, Palm and Motorola blowers. The cost of ownership may be more important and even a deciding factor in [...]
Say hello to the latest reason to get excited if you own an iPhone.

This means that you don’t need to see the [...]
