Philco PCThe Philco PC is lovingly based on the fantastically futuristic and totally iconic Philco Predicta television set (check the gallery below) as well as some Steampunk influences.

The re-imagining of the 50’s style set into a contemporary computer includes some real nice touches.

Take the typewriteresque keyboard or the mouse which resembles something that would normally be found being waved around by Scotty.

This is just a concept at the moment but please someone – give Dave Schultze a call, give him some cash and some development time and help him build this machine.

Help us PC users have the last laugh at those trendy fashion-forward Mac users!

Check out the video – Yum!

Uno CycleRemember the funky Canadian Uno concept from last year?

Part TT Racer, Part unicycle. You know, the unholy coupling of a Yamaha R6 and a Segway?

It blew me away with its almost Akira futurism.

Now it’s a really real thing and you’d think that I’d still be blown away – even more so now it’s a reality.

Well……….. not quite.

Unfortunately as soon as the Uno hits 20mph instead of looking like Kaneda’s choice of racer it transforms into an odd-looking regular two-wheeled thing (See the pic in the gallery below).

Ben Gulak, the Uno’s inventor covers himself by saying: “The original Uno was quite scary to speed up on. This is a much more user-friendly experience.”

Whoever gets on a motorbike for a safe and friendly experience?

What says you?

These watches look cool, use e-ink and don’t look overtly geeky – WIN!
Personally I think that these new Phosphor watches have real-world style.
The watches have a cool kind of bold newsprint look to them, really using the retro-future style of e-ink to the ultimate.
They’re just right in the chunkiness levels too and the best thing is that the whole [...]

Courb C-Zen – Street Legal Buggy For 16 Year Olds!

Courb’s C-Zen is, in my book, a definite step-up compared to a beat up scooter.
It’s even green!
It was spotted at the Pavillon Vert at the Geneva Motor Show and comes from the French company Courb.
C-Zen actually stands for ‘C’est Zéro Emission Nocive’, or ‘No Harmful Emissions’ and that’s achieved by it running on a 12kW [...]
