Bless Five.
The TV channel has just got with the share-love and has inked a deal with online video platform ‘Brightcove‘. This deal let viewers embed and share its content on any website – just like you can do with a YouTube video!
This leaves BBC iPlayer a bit behind which is odd as iPlayer has been the groundbreaker thus far.
As part of a new deal, you’ll soon be able to place Five TV shows on blog posts, completely free and completely legally – Bonus!
Five is reportedly hoping to sign deals with partners like Facebook before 2010, but will offer Brightcove videos before then on Five.tv and FiveFWD.
So, Aunty Beeb – what’s your next move?

Can you remember when you could get a fiver out of the ATM?
Well that feeling is due to return as the UK continues to feel the credit crunch and that’s the only note that they’ll dispense!
Bank Machine have started their roll-out in Roman Road, Tower Hamlets, London and wants to continue through to the rest of the Capital as well as Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The company’s Director, Ron Delnevo said;
“If people take out £60 at a time they are more likely to spend it, but smaller notes, such as £5, will help them keep track of money.”
The Bank of England’s chief cashier Andrew Bailey, whose signature appears on all bank notes, said:
“The £5 notes have a vital part to play in the UK purchasing chain and I welcome this initiative by Bank Machine to give easier access to these notes in key ATM locations throughout the UK.”
