That’s right folks!
If you’ve been waiting for the Eee Top 1602 series all-in-one touchscreen PC to drop in the UK, the wait is over.
Asus claims that the PC will save you cash especially on your electricity bill as it uses 15% of the power of a traditional PC set up. Which is nice
It has a 15.6 inch widescreen touch display, an Intel Atom processor, Windows XP, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 1.3-megapixel webcam, built-in speakers, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, six USB ports and is available in black and white.
Asus would like to see this in your main living space and thanks to its tiny footprint and quiet operation, Asus describe the device as a “complete multimedia solution”.
“It can be your computer, communications hub, home cinema, music player and personal organiser all in one”.
You can go and buy an Asus Eee Top 1602-WT-X0010 All-in-One PC

Before you all groan when reading the words Asus, EeePC and Netbook this bit of news may be upping the netbook game.
The Asus Eee PC 1004DN is looking to be the first Eee PC netbook with an optical disc drive.
Oh yeah!
Now you’re interested.
Let’s face it. An optical disc drive has been something that practically all Netbooks lack and now that integrated 3G is pretty much a given they have to find something else to offer.
So, soon you can be watching DVD on your netbook instead of ripping them on your main machine.
News of this DVD drive packing netbook get’s even more exciting as DigiTimes reports that the Eee PC 1004DN will ship as soon as mid-April!
Hang on. That’s like a week away!
Under the hood there’s the Atom N280 1.66GHz processor and a 120GB hard drive.
Word on the street is that it will cost around £370 - £410.
Let’s see.
I’m gonna be winding up this place by the end of the week (28th March 2009) and will only be posting here:
