HTC Magic Now Buyable in UK

by Jay G on May 1, 2009

htc_pioneer_h1Today should be renamed Android day!

Yup, The latest Android mobile phone, the HTC Magic, has gone on sale today exclusively to Vodafone in the UK.

It’s priced from £30 per month on a 24-month contract and for that you’ll get 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet access each month with Vodafone.

If you fancy an iPhone styled 18-month contract prices then start at £35 a month for the same amount of minutes and texts.

The phone is free up front – it aint available on PAYG though.

If you fancy bypassing the whole Vodafone contract thing you could get your HTC Magic via eBay, where the site is expected to sell unlocked handsets – mainly from unwanted ugrades to Vodafone customers.

The G1 Android phone, which launched last October and is exclusive to T-Mobile, is on eBay unlocked for an average of £200 each.

Star Wars Christmas – Jingle Droids! Jingle Droids…..

by Jay Garrett on November 21, 2008

Here’s a whole lot of WTF!???!

Thanks to those folks over at Walyou for this :)

This collectible was inspired by the 1980’s Lucasfilm holiday greeting card art by Ralph McQuarrie, the concept artist responsible for much of the look of the original Star Wars trilogy. The set comes with a display base and includes a full-sized holiday greeting card.

The good news is that you can get the “Star Wars Holiday Edition R2-D2 and C-3PO” from Amazon for $30.85 or over at eBay for the “buy it now” price of $33.50.

You can’t go wrong surly!

Merry crimbo R2 and C-3PO! :)
