Blaze.
Remember the name?
It’s those folks that shoved a Sega Mega Drive into a handheld with 20 games built-in for £30.
Now the very same company is releasing a slim profile home console to plug into your TV in that old skool Megadrive stylee.
It will have 15 games built-in including Altered Beast, Golden Axe and Sonic & Knuckles as well as keeping a cartridge slot – so if you want to buy old Sega Mega Drive games off eBay, or have kept some in the back of your cupboard you can breathe life back into them.
The Blaze Sega Mega Drive is even multi-region – this means that you’ll be able to play a Japanese-only cult classic, you can geek out to your hearts content
The Blaze Sega Mega Drive console comes with two control pads and will be available starting April 24th for £40 from HMV

Ah, the Rubik’s Cube.
It has been confusing people over the last 30 years or so but as there’s cheats and iPhone apps to help those people still scratching their heads the house of Rubik have decided to release the Rubik’s 360, a new puzzle sphere from the original inventor.
The aim of the Rubik’s 360, invented by that master of perplexing puzzles, Dr Rubik, is to get six coloured balls trapped within several transparent spheres inside of each other into respective coloured pockets on the outside.
Although, this puzzle is different to the cube as it seems to rely more on dexiterity than problem solving logic.
Inventor Professor Erno Rubik says:
”I feel that the Rubik’s 360 is one of the most innovative and exciting puzzles we’ve developed since the Cube – adopting elements of my original design, challenging the solver to use skill, dexterity and logic. But it’s a more kinetic challenge, more physical, because gravity is involved. We all have great hopes for it”.
I might even stand a chance with this one!
Perhaps………
It’s due for release in the UK in the Summertime
