Soaker is an AK – AK-47 Aqua Fire Water Rifle

by Jay Garrett on March 20, 2010

Super Soakers are fun and there has been some ‘cool’ designs but if I’m looking to get into a water fight I’m opting for this AK!

Say hello to my WMD (weapon of mass drenching) of choice: the AK-47 Aqua Fire.

This soggy shooter is equipped with a battery powered motorised trigger capable of firing 4 “bullets” of water every second and an easy reload mechanism. Gone is the furious pumping to get the pressure and instead of having to shove it under the tap to refil just sling in a full water ammo clip.

The AK-47 Aqua Fire is actually fully licensed from M.T. Kalashnikov, the makers of the actual AK-47.

Features:

  • No pumping required
  • Fully motorised
  • Shoots 4 bullets of water every second
  • Safety switch
  • Clear casing to see the auto-fire mechanism
  • Holds approximately 300ml
  • Clip holds enough water for approximately 60 seconds of continuous firing
  • Requires 4 x AA Batteries (Not included)
  • Approximate dimensions 350 x 230 x 45mm
  • Range of up to 8 metres

Sexy Asus Designo Monitors get LED Love

by Jay Garrett on March 20, 2010

Those Asus Designo monitors looked great when I last wrote about them back in September.

They’re soon gonna look a lot better soon as Asus have decided to lavish some LED backlighting love upon them.

There are four new models that will be sporting the new addition: MS248 (23.6″), MS238 (23″), MS228 (21.5″) and MS208 (20″)

The LED backlighting will deliver 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness in up to 1080p resolutions right to your pleased peepers.

The only thing is that there’s seems to be no mention of price or availability – if you know anything please let me know ;)

Fashion phones don’t usually get my juices going.
They are what they are – a fashion statement first and a gadget second…. or even third.
So, when I heard that the result of a Puma and Sagem love-in was set to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress next week a whole lot of ‘meh’ hit me.
Since visiting [...]

This should be filed in the ‘Why has this only been thought of?’ files.
No digging, it takes up less space and it seems that it can be used at the edge of lakes and ponds.
The screw-in coffin saves on ground space as you drill your loved one into the ground upright and as there’s less-and-less [...]
