cameraAwesome news abounds!

Polaroid has confirmed that it’s getting together with instant film fans, The Impossible Project, to resurrect the classic and well loved instant film cameras.

Yup -the format that was killed off last year is coming back people!

The Impossible Project has spent the past 12 months working on a new film for existing Polaroid cameras, even going as far as running the former Polaroid factory in Enschede, Holland.

Polaroid plans to relaunch their Polaroid Instant Cameras next year, with The Impossible Project creating Instant Film for the newly created insti-snappers.

There’ll be the option for black and white and colour versions.

This proves that the customer is always right – where there’s a will………..

bingIt’s official: Bing.com is Microsoft’s new Web search.

Instead of handing you with a list of links, Bing is designed to work out what you were thinking and organise your results into handy categories.

Features include best match, page previews viewed by hovering over links, and instant answers – which provides quick results in the body of the first search results page.

Apparently there’ll be “more functionality in key consumer areas” such as shopping and travel.

Bing launches in beta today in the UK, with a dedicated search technology team headquartered in London.

So, could it be any less like Google?

Bing! will be Microsoft’s first use of online shopping portal and price comparison site Ciao, which the big M bought back in October last year.

It’s not quite up just yet but there is this groovy demo video.
