Exactly a week a go I shared some video footage of the widescreened BL40’s smaller sibling – the LG BL20.
As I said before it’s a scaled-down version of the premium 21:9 handset and may only have GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, an FM radio and a 2.4 inch QVGA screen it manages to stay just 12.3mm thick even with its slide-out keyboard.
The snapper is a decent 5.0 megapixel job with autofocus and flash.
Talktime is listed as five hours, with standby time 450 hours and will be available in time for Christmas shopping and is whispered to be an O2 exclusive (as they’re losing that deal with the iPhone).

Yup, you heard me folks.
This is not just another update – Skype 4.0 for Windows is all about the all-new interface.
Whooopy! You may say. But what does that actually mean?
Well, you still get everything that you know and love – and some sweet, sweet, added extras.
You know how 93% of communication is non-verbal…..well, Skype have added some new and improved video calling – making it easier to start a free video call and with full-screen video if you really want to get intimate.
A built-in bandwidth manager will also optimise your connection up to maximum of 30 frames per second, with that same tool also boosting call clarity on voice-only calls.
And if getting started was a bit too much like hard work in the past (really?) this 4.0 makes things nice and easy, especially for setting up your hardware, keeping track of multiple conversations and switching between voice, video, instant messaging and SMS.
Gosh!
It’s not only better for those new to Skype, if you’re an existing PC Skyper you’d be daft not to upgrade.
What are you waiting for then?
