T-Mobile Prove That New iPhone Will be 32gig

A really real “iPhone 32GB” placeholder has appeared in the ‘Coming Soon’ section on T-Mobile Austria’s website.

It certainly points to the fact that the new 3rd Gen iPhone is getting a memory boost as expected.

Looks like Vodafone Australia has also sent out a notice that the 16GB iPhone has been deemed “End of Life” by Brightpoint, who supplies its iPhones.

Update: Seems the admin has since yanked the 32GB iPhone from the page — proabably collecting their P45 right now.

It’s looking good people!

Samsung Produces Worlds First 32 gig moviNAND

samsungnand1Samsung has claimed a real, straight-up, on the level, first.

These moviNAND cards are the only ones at the moment to use 32Gb chips built on 30nm-class technology.

What this means for the likes of you and me is that as Sammy makes more NAND memory than any other single company these will be appearing in many products.

Just think: Things like the iPod Touch are packing two or more chips, that means 64GB portable devices will soon be a minimum spec.

Yup, more iPhone update rumours!
This one comes thanks to Mark Abramsky, an analyst at RBC.
He reckons that Apple will release two versions of the iPhone this summer – not three.
He says to expect an improved 3G version with a better camera, video recording and 32GB of SSD as well as a scaled down $99 handset.
