Netgear has just announced the launch of its new Nighthawk router, the R7000P, which aims to take your mobile streaming faster and farther.
The R7000P is said to be built with gaming, streaming and mobile devices in mind. To this end the new gigabit WiFi router supports MU-MIMO tech to enable improved performance when simultaneously streaming to multiple devices.
As well as AC2300 the R7000P builds on the last Nighthawk with the latest WiFi technology. This increases your WiFi coverage while reducing dead spots.
The Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Router has Beamforming+, high-powered amplifiers and antennas for improved performance over the previous generation too.
You can control your router remotely using features such as Netgear genie remote access, ReadyCLOUD, OpenVPN, and Kwilt app.
The all important connections includes two USB Ports, one (1) USB 3.0 and one (1) USB 2.0. There is also five 10/100/1000 Mbps (1 WAN and 4 LAN) ports for fast wired connections for devices such as Network Attached Storage (NAS). Although, I can’t see evidence of aggregation between the LAN ports though.
Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 R7000P price and availability
