214239-chineseOooOOooooo!!

The iPhone specs for the ‘iPhone 3′ have been leaked on a Chinese forum.

If we take these as being real it looks like the new Appley handheld will be faster, have more storage but wont be a huge leap from what’s on my desk right now.

Via some screengrabs of what is claimed to be the next-generation iPhone those know-it-alls have worked out the specs.

So – what will the new iPhone have in store for us then?

  • 600MHz CPU Speed (up from 400MHz)
  • 256MB RAM (up from 128MB)
  • Digital Compass and FM
  • 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus
  • 32GB Storage

Where’s the hints at HD or the video camera and motion sensing?

Do you feel happy with these specs or were you expecting more?

Please let me know :)

I have to admit the camera is a bit of a let down considering I’ve had a 5 meg camera for almost a year already. But the other specs are pretty good, sounds like apple finally getting on board with the FM radio too.

Why do they seem to go the extra mile with most specs then let us down with something other manufacturers put on as standard? 3G, MMS, FM Radion?

Still going to add it to my christmas list though :)

Yeah, I’m with you on that one Dean ol’ buddy.

I know it’s an improvement on the 3G’s snapper but I’d also expect a 5mp with video from Apple’s latest.

Do you think Apple ignores the ’standards’ on purpose………………? ;)
