Lenovo X300 – Cheaky ad ‘attacks’ Mac Book Air

Last month I reported back about the Lenovo laptop that started out in life by taunting the MacBook Air.

Now they’ve kidney-punched Apple with their new ad. Just look at it:

Stoopidly thin lappy (but this one has an optical drive)? Check.

Floating with a drop shadow? Check.

Helvetica Light hook phrase? Yup.

“Thinnovation” may have been changed to “The art of thin,” but c’mon; you can’t ignore the MBA similarities in the Lenovo web ad for the ThinkPad X300.

With the “No-compromise” and “Everything else is just hot air?” tag lines – I reckon we’re in for a rumble!!!
