Latest iPhone Patent Shows Video Camera and Motion Sensing

by Jay G on April 17, 2009

iphone-patentMacRumors have spotted Apple’s latest patent application for a new iPhone.

Loads of people, like me, can’t wait to see the much anticipated new iPhone and the new patent points to something pretty groovy!

On that patent diagram, the iPhone has gained a front-facing camera.

So?

Well, this means that you’ll be able to get down to some video chat!

Does this mean that iPhone v3/4G will be able to do two-way video (or even one-way video)?

Rah!

Other bits n bobs on the application include a motion-sensitive control system for the iPhone.

This will detect when you’re on the move and will increase the font size and readability of the interface whenever the phone is in motion.

But video coming to iPhone.

That’s the real news :)
