Jabra PRO 9400 and GO 6400 Headsets with Touchscreen Docking Charger

by Jay Garrett on July 1, 2009

jabra-touchdockJabra have made a name for themselves by producing pretty natty headsets and continue the trend with their new Jabra PRO 9400 and GO 6400.

They’ve not only concentrated on the headsets – oh no.

Both the PRO 9400 and GO 6400 come along with a touchscreen dock to help you deal with all your calls with a swipe of your finger. Nice!

The headsets are the usual hands-free walk-and-talk jive and allow you to chatter without having a lump of plastic jammed against your face.

What grabbed my attention, however, was that docking station.

The Jabra PRO 9400 and G6400 both come with a base that boasts a 2.4 inch touchscreen built in to show you caller ID, let you switch between calls and adjust volume.

The main difference twixt the two is that the PRO uses DECT (the wireless tech that most home phones use) so handy for in the office/home use and the GO uses Bluetooth so good to….errr.. go – apart from that they’ll both handle mobile, landline and VoIP calls.

The Jabra PRO 9400 and GO 6400 headsets go on sale in the UK in September but I’ve no idea about the price just yet.
