Most people will automatically head for a netbook if they’re after a portable puter for a low price.

The lappy is built around the 2GHz AMD Sempron M100 processor, ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics.

It sports 2GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium, with a WXGA 15.6-inch screen, 160GB HDD and even has a DVD burner.

The 6 cell battery isn’t going to wow you with longevity but at least you’ll have a real laptop and not have to make do with a netbook
